The idea for the Guide to Chabre originated from my efforts on YouTube. Flight debriefs have always been a way for me to improve my own flying. At the YouTube channel, I took it a step further by making my own flight debriefs public. This made me analyze the area in much more detail and really think about why things happen the way they do.That led me to create a challenge for the local flying site where I live in France. In early 2022, I created the Chabre Challenge, which is a step-by-step guide to a 100km flight from Chabre. It is a 24-page PDF that you can obtain by signing up for my email list, which is still available. The pilot community has received it really well, which I didn't expect.Over the season, more and more pilots have asked me to create several tasks in the Chabre Challenge way. Eventually, I decided to give it a go and spent a lot of time creating my first book - Guide to Chabre. As people found it very usuful, I have received request to continue my work for other paragliding sites. I have now written Guide to St.Andre and will be working on other sites through out the winters of years to come.
